Great place to spend an hour with the kids. We loved seeing all of the horses and donkeys. They just ask for donations in a postbox on the gate. Alternatively you can pay to donate for specific items online like a bale of Hay for £5 or a bag of carrots for £2.50.
My kids love going here, very nice staff and the horses and donkeys look well looked after.
The donkeys, horses and ponys are adorable. The volunteers are friendly and clearly working hard to look after their equine friends. I bought a groovy knitted wonky donkey from visitor centre.
It's so good what you do for those animals, they look well cared and happy there. I think there should be more information about each animals, and maybe you should put food on sale so the visitors can feed the animals and interact more with them.
I tried to adopt a donkey and there was nobody in the store and they did not accept card payment.
Lovely couple of hours spent here .it was great , absolutely lovely staff made us all feel very welcome and a great fairy trail. 🥰🥰🥰😙 …
After searching for places close by to take kids to I came across this place and took a chance to go and was so happy I did as its a really lovely place to take kids to as it's free entry but asks for a small donation to help and you get to see horses, ponies, donkeys in the fields & stables and they are well looked after and will be back again soon and donated once I got home, the only downside is I came by taxi as I don't own a car but having a car would be a plus as its got free car parking too,my apologies for my daughter opening and closing the gates as we was leaving as she had a lil tantrum
We have been here a few times now and our daughter loves seeing the horses and donkeys, lovely way to spend an hour or so
Really lovely experience, horses, ponies and donkeys all looked after by lovely caring staff. Adopted a pony for grandson who was so thrilled at being able to help. Can't wait to go again.
